How It Works:
- The trap's dark, water-filled design mimics a natural breeding site, attracting female mosquitoes ready to lay eggs.
- The mosquito enters through the micro-perforated lid.
- Inside, the trap walls are coated with a slow-release insecticide film containing a larvicide and an adulticide.
- The mosquito comes into contact with the treated surface, which kills her. Any eggs she lays in the water will also be killed by the larvicide, preventing the next generation of mosquitoes from hatching.
Directions for Use:
- Remove the trap from its packaging.
- Fill the trap with water up to the designated fill line.
- Place the trap in a shaded, sheltered outdoor area, away from direct sunlight and wind, preferably near vegetation or where mosquitoes are known to rest.
- For best results, place one trap every 600-800 square feet. Use both traps for areas up to 1,600 square feet.
- Leave the trap undisturbed for 90 days. After 90 days, dispose of the used trap according to label directions and replace it with a new one.
