Ignition Switch w/ Cold Start for Ford Diesel Tractors '65 & up
2 keys included. 5 position switch: Step 0 - Off, Step 1 - Accessories, Step 2 - Ignition, Step 3 - Pre-Heat (Thermostart), Step 4 - Start w/ Pre-Heat. Steps 3 and 4 are spring-loaded. See pictures for key position and wiring schematics. Early style switch had pre-heat to the left (counter-clockwise). This switch is late style with all positions to the right (clockwise). It is the correct replacement for early style, which is no longer available aftermarket.
NOTE: This switch is not compatible with models using electric fuel shutoff solenoid.
Can also be used on Diesel without cold start, but additional positions/blades for cold start not needed.
