HUTSULS 3" x 9" Double-Sided Leather Strop Paddle with Compound
Stropping is best for restoring the keen edge of your knives after each use. By regularly honing your knives, you help keep them sharp for longer time periods.
This stropping kit features two pieces of organic buffalo leather on each side of the paddle, which is ideal for finely shaping the edges of your blades. The solid ash wood base with an ergonomic handle allows holding the paddle while you hone your knives.
You also get a bar of green polishing compound, which contains minuscule abrasives that help deliver a razor-sharp edge.
To use the strop, apply a small bit of compound on the leather surface. With light pressure, stroke the blade on the strop - making sure to move the blade away from its cutting edge. Turn the blade over and do the same on the other side.
