Up for sale is a very rare antique 18th century handmade American wrought iron oval style door lock.
It's wrought out of very thick iron, is a heavy piece, and has acquired a lovely patina from age.
It is a unique/rare form with a handmade wrought iron key that slides to open the spring loaded locking mechanism.
The piece is in good working condition and measures 9 1/2 inches long by 3 1/2 inches wide.
