Original. MI Michigan USGS Topographic Index Map from circa 1919. Canvas-backed map 33" x 27" each. There's no date on the map but it was with a group of Michigan USGS maps dating from the 1909 to 1919 period. Map has some toning from age and small tears along edges. The map has the name of the USGS director George Otis Smith. He was USGS director from 1907 to 1922 and from 1923 to 1930.
