Very thin, soft, and stretchable, easy apply to any fabric in a wide range of colors.  

The difference between metallic and metallic foil is that the foil product melts slightly into the fabric showing more of the texture of the underlying fabric leaving a very soft feel.  The metallic colors leave a very smooth bright finish.  Cuttable, easy to work, heat transfer vinyl for shirts, pillows, caps and more. 20" width.  Will adhere wash after wash to 100% cotton, 100% polyester, and poly/cotton blend fabrics. Our polyurethane vinyl material is thinner and lighter, designed for a softer feel and ideal for tees. Sticky carrier film helps with positioning and repositioning before heat pressing. Will not permanently adhere to nylon fabrics.

For a great unique look use any of the metallic foil colors and add a second layer of the clear vinyl on top as a second layer.  You will get an effect that looks like flecked paint with a clear coat finish.  It is very cool!

Please note that Metallic Heat Transfer Vinyl is a unique product and that cracking and delamination may occur after washing. The results are not predictable

Recommended fabrics:

Apply to any cotton or cotton/polyester blend material. 

  

Heat Press Settings:

Temperature 300° - 320°

Pressure: 55-70 LBS

Medium-Firm Pressure

6-8 on Auto Clam Hotronix

Preheat Platen: Prior to beginning, press empty pad for 3 cycled of 15 seconds.

Failure to preheat pad will cause insufficient heat and will damage the first 3 transfers.

Step 1. Cut

 Use a plotter, die cut or laser cut. Mirror the image so the lettering says readable.

Step 2. Weed

 Remove unwanted areas around the design.

Step 3. Press 

 Cover with Teflon sheet and press at ~310°F for 10-15 seconds with Medium-Firm pressure.

Step 4. Peel 

While still warm

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS: 

• Leave finished item for at least 24 hours before washing. 
• Turn garment inside out and wash in cold water using a mild detergent. 
• Do not use bleach. Dry on the low heat setting, do not dry clean Do not iron directly on the transferred area.               

TEST APPLICATION 

We thoroughly test each of our products on various substrates using different transfer equipment. However, it is impossible for us to duplicate all variables using all substrates and transfer equipment, methods and substrate materials. Heat presses vary in accuracy. Conduct tests to determine the best time and temperature to use with your equipment.
