This tool compresses the shock absorber spring allowing the collets to be freely removed (and refitted) for
the shock absorber to be fully dismantled and re-assembled. Requires use of regular 17mm spanner.
This universal tool comes with 3 extra spacer rings enabling the tool to work on rear suspension
units that require the following collets clearance: 35mm, 47mm, 51mm & 56mm
