Very Rare Stag Hirschkrone Bund Knife mint in the box. This knife is the official issue Bund (Unified Armed Forces of Germany) Flying Corps, Pilot knife. They chose this model 3055 over the Puma white hunter because it held up better. The 440A s.s. blade measures 6". The handle is stag with aluminum guard brass pins and thong hole. The knife has a nice taper tang and measures 10.5" total. The knife is in mint condition with the original grey box and leather sheath. The BUND logo on one side and the Hirschkrone logo on the other side are very weak and hard to see in the picture. The guard could use some polish.
