This is an original cast iron starting crank for a 1 1/2 or 2hp Hercules or Economy hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It fits on a 1 1/4 inch crankshaft and will work to start many engines but it came from the factory with a Hercules or Economy engine. The starting lug is in great shape with a very little wear. It is ready to go to work starting an engine! These cranks are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one to complete a restoration here it is.
