Here is a seldom seen Disston Compact 1874 toolbox saw. The handle was squeezed into the 26 inch blade as far as they could go making this no more useful than 20 inch panel saw, could be why you don't see very many. The patina is deep so a little cleaning and the etch would show better, even a bit of oil would make it pop out some but I always liked this sitting in the shed a hundred years look. The pictures of the etch are about worthless, in person it's much easier to adjust the angle and see the etch. I don't recall very many chances to acquire this model over the years, here's your chance.
For information on old tools the resources at Mid West Tool Collectors Association are top notch. They have links collected there for everything antique tool related.
