This is a good wire feeder for a swap into a welder that has a difficult to find wire feed motor. It looks similar to the black plastic wire feeders found on the Harbor Freight (Chicago Electric) MIG 170 and MIG 180 welders. But this one has a larger feed motor, and while the black plastic housing is similar, its not exact. If you're stuck with a welder that has a bad feeder and you are willing to put the work into adapting this feeder to fit in the welder case, it could work. And you will be happy with it. This feeder has good power and stability. And you can use the popular torch assembly that clamps to the wire feeder with the black plastic pieces held by phillips screws. This feeder has more power than what is found as an OE part on most welders. Look at the motor, its bigger.
I put this in a Chicago Electric MIG 170 and I love it. My installation didn't look perfect, but the feed is strong and stable.
