Offered is an unusual Haviland Limoges Large Oval Platter - Schleiger 442 variant. On the Portia Blank (Blank 12) with gold edge design, the pattern consists of pink apple blossom transfers. Note the intricate embossed scroll designs at the entrance to the juice wells at either end. The platter measures 15" long and is 10 3/4" across. There are no chips or cracks. The gold edge decoration shows a little wear. The whiteware mark is the green Haviland France; the red decorator mark Haviland & Co. Limoges. W1297
