Here is a pair of Mid-Century Modern
HARWOOD STEIGER unused and unwashed LINEN PLACEMATS screen printed by
hand in gold on the natural linen using his original designs. Since he
died in 1980, these are clearly vintage pieces. They measure roughly 21”
by 14”.
The first shows a pair of Roadrunners running among a variety of cacti.
The second has a large group of various cactuses with each labeled by type.
The look very nice to us but, please, use the photographs to help you
determine condition for yourself. You may see reflections, glare, or
shadows in the pictures.
These highly desirable mats would display beautifully or are still suitable for their intended purpose.
