E. LUTHY - HIRT (BIENNE) balance spring or hairspring adjusting tool for
watches; Bienne, Switzerland. 12 cm tall; original box.
The
pincers can be adjusted along the x and y axes by turning the small wheels.
When the button at the top is pressed and released, the pincers open and
close to allow the test hairspring to be held. The top half of the
instrument can then be turned by pressing the small handle, when released
again (spring mechanism) the hairsprings are set in motion. The master
