A top/bottom pair of hoops from a Gretsch 17.5-inch marching snare drum, circa 1920s. Yes, that size is correct, these are from a shell that measures 17 and a half inches in diameter. Bottom hoop has wire cutouts.
Rough shape as shown, a bit out of round, non-factory paint job, assorted dings and dents and one has a crack most of the way through it. They are intact nonetheless, and this is certainly a tough size to find.
