GLOW-IN-THE-DARK Products:

Green Glow-in-the-Dark Pigment Powder is the strongest glow-in-the-dark pigment powder color on the market.

Our glow-in-the-dark pigment powder, sometimes known as a photoluminescent pigment, can be charged and discharged many thousands of times, making it very economical to use. It is the essential ingredient for most glow-in-the-dark products and is used by consumers and businesses to make craft projects, create safer work and home environments, make fishing lures, and hundreds of other extremely useful projects and products.

PRODUCT ATTRIBUTES:

1. SUPERIOR LIGHT EMISSION
Overall, these pigments are superior in quality (luminosity) and the duration of their glow. After being exposed to light for a short period, it can glow bright enough to light up an entire room, and (depending on the composition of the pigment) it can glow for over 12 consecutive hours.

2. COST-EFFECTIVE
Compared to traditional backup lighting and illuminated signage, this is highly cost-effective.

3. 10-YEAR LIFESPAN & (AFTER CHARGE)
Because of its stable crystalline structure, this pigment is highly durable and maintains its high initial brilliance (after charge) for at least 10 years. The shelf life is also 10 years. The pigment is waterproof for a much longer life span.

4. NO HEALTH OR SAFETY RISK
Our products are non-toxic, waterproof, and impact-resistant, have no radioactive components, and are non-flammable.

5. EXCELLENT TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE
These pigments have been subjected to rigorous testing under temperatures as high as 800°F, and performance has not decreased.

6. PERFECTLY SUITED TO OUTDOOR USAGE & WATERPROOF
Outdoor signage does not require electricity or battery power, wiring, or maintenance, and it is 100% reliable. The pigment is also waterproof, securing a brighter glow over its lifespan.

7. GLOWS BRILLIANT UNDER A BLACK OR UV LIGHT

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS FOR LUMINOUS PAINTS:

  • Mix with transparent mediums such as acrylic or solvent paint, polyurethane, resin, epoxy, plastisols, powder paint, gels, topical sealers, and or any clear medium that will act as a binder for the pigment.
  • Mix about 20 to 50% of luminous pigment, measured by weight, to the clear resin. This is just a guideline. You could add more or less according to your requirements
  • The mixing ratio for glow powders is 15 to 25%, measured by weight or volume, to the clear medium.
  • Do not grind the luminous pigment.
  • Use containers with ceramic or glass interiors and stir the mixture at high speed.
  • To avoid deposits, you should use high viscosity resins or anti-settling agents. Stir well prior to application, process small batches at a time.
  • Do not use heavy metal components as additives.
  • The more powder or higher the percentage, the brighter and longer the glow will last.
  • Add Medium to powder, not powder to medium. That way, you can stop when the desired glow effect is reached.
  • For best results, use a white or light background. Any color other than white will diminish the glow.
  • If painting a black surface with powders, brilliance will be much less.
  • Use the clearest vehicle possible. Any color in the vehicle will decrease the brightness and length of the glow.
  • The thicker (to a point) the layer of Glow Powder will produce longer and brighter luminosity.
  • Try to prevent moisture in the manufacturing process. A yellowing of resin may indicate moisture. Apply a final clear overcoat to protect the material from humidity and to improve gross.

Notice: A glass or Plastic spatula should be used when stirring the powder and printing ink. A metal implement may react with powder.
