This is a decorative glass jar sold by the Grand Union Tea Company with a decorative lid. It is filled with small glass Christmas ornaments, which are not original to the product. The front of the jar has a raised floral design and there is a mostly intact label on the other side. These jars originally were sold with 3 pounds of candy. 11" tall.
