While the cup is nice to look at, it's functionality trash!To use the cup as intended, to steep loose leaf tea, ONLY larger teas will work.After steeping with the lid, be VERY careful of touching and removing the lid and strainer as it will be scalding HOT!!

I really wanted to like this mug, but after only 2 months it?s going in the trash. I noticed the top part of the handle was moving a little last week, but I figured some glue would take care of that. But then when I went to make my tea this morning, I found a large hole where the glass had broken between two of the slits and then to the side. I only put it in the dishwasher a handful of times (it?s supposed to be dishwasher safe). Maybe if I had only hand washed it then it would?ve lasted longer. I gave it two stars because it served its purpose for the two months I was able to use it.
