General Paul X. Kelley signed and inscribed 11x14 matte display with a color photograph. The signature and inscription are in black ink and in excellent condition. The display is in good condition; there is corner wear and some light border wear, the color photograph is in excellent condition. 
Paul X. Kelley was a four-star general (General) in the U.S. Marine Corps and served as the 28th Commandant of the Marine Corps from 1983 to 1987. Commissioned in 1950, he served in Korea and Vietnam, earning the Silver Star and Legion of Merit among other decorations. He was the first commander of the Rapid Deployment Joint Task Force and later led U.S. Central Command planning before becoming Commandant. Kelley emphasized modernization, readiness, and the Marine Corps' role in rapid response during the Cold War. He retired in 1987 and died in 2019 at age 91.
