This is the GEN 2 version of the connector. If you have a GEN 1, please see my other auctions. Look at the pictures to tell if yours is Gen 1 or Gen 2.
This is a 3D printed copy (PETG) of an improved version of the original to remove a stress concentration.
This ONLY WORKS FOR GEN 2 CHARGEPOINT. The design of the lever is specific to the manufacturer.

to replace the lever
1) Using something like a nail or nailset, drive out the old 5mm pin
2) With the pin out, remove the old broken lever
3) Ideally the pin is still attached to the J1772 as shown
4) Save the spring from the old lever (IF YOU LOST THE SPRING. LET ME KNOW)
5) Install spring on new lever
6) Install the lever and hammer the pin back in, should be good to go.
I've installed this on my own ChargePoint home unit and it works well.

In the interest of complete disclosure, ChargePoint does sell this lever/latch. and the new one is made of metal which honestly sounds great.
