For sale a rare Cross vacuum scale, manufacturer by Paravia Torino Italy, first quarter of the 20th century. The tubes are 40 cm long, the wooden base is 50 cm high. All the tubes work except number 3 which unfortunately has lost the vacuum. Tube number 6 is spectacular with its greenish glow which also indicates some production of X-rays. This device only works when connected to a high voltage generator (Ruhmkorf coil, electrostatic machines, etc.)
