This is an original ignitor for a Fuller Johnson N or K hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It should fit the 1 1/2-12hp engines but please do your homework to be sure it fits your application. It is in good used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind except that it needs a pin replaced to limit the back travel of the trip finger. The movable shaft moves but is very stiff. The trip finger is stuck but should free up with a little heat. It will need a new spring and the points look to be in excellent condition as can be seen. There is very little wear on the trip finger. It mounts with two holes 2 3/4 inches apart on center. Please measure your engine to be sure it works for your application. With just a little effort this ignitor could be ready to be used on an engine or put in your inventory as a spare. These original parts are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! If you've been looking for one to complete a restoration or to replace your broken or repaired one here's your chance. The pictures tell the story. It would surely beat making one!
