We used them in our kitchen for 2 years to supplement our main refrigerator. Space-wise, there was no other refrigerator that could fit the bill. These more than did the job for us, and they’re still going strong, with many more years of use left.

Two units are available. Both are the exact same beverage refrigerator as described above. Both were purchased new from Home Depot in August of 2023. We purchased them for indoor use only, to supplement the refrigeration in our kitchen. Now that we are remodeling and installing a larger main refrigerator, these units will not be needed. However, there are 2 reasons that these refrigerators were perfect in our indoor scenario, even though they were not intended for such use by the manufacturer:
#1 32 DEGREE COOLING
Being that these refrigerators cool down to 32 degrees - which is a beyond-safe refrigeration temperature for meats, cheeses, dairy, etc. (fragile foods), we were able to use them for everything. Tests with a thermometer at different places proved that on the bottom, the temperature was true to the unit’s outside reading. It rises as you rise in the fridge, which makes sense. The most sensitive foods merely stay on the bottom. Most beverage refrigerators do not get down to 32 degrees. This makes these refrigerators useful for more than just beverages.
#2 A ROUND STAINLESS STEEL FRIDGE ON WHEELS FLOATS ANYWHERE AND ROLLS ANYWHERE
Being that these refrigerators are round and coated in 360 degrees of stainless steel, they can float anywhere. We didn’t have wall space for them, but they floated next to the island, the pantry, etc. Being portable (with wheels), we could roll them whenever and wherever they were needed. There is nothing more flexible, more convenient, and more space-forgiving on the market.
Descriptions of each cooler/refrigerator follow…
#1 THE BLUE REFRIGERATOR
The 1st refrigerator, which I have labeled the blue refrigerator, is virtually brand new. It is called the blue refrigerator because the original manufacturer’s protective plastic around the stainless steel exterior is intact and has not been removed at any point. All the accessory items are also in their original manufacturer’s packaging, with the exception of the glass top and circular seal. While the manufacturer’s chrome handle remains on the blue unit’s glass top, I am also including a bonus replacement handle that is both more decorative and feels much sturdier. Made of zinc alloy with a Matte Black finish, the brand new, still packaged Asidrama handle is a heavy duty cabinet pull that is both strong and attractive. The blue refrigerator has been lightly used indoors to store organic powdered cocoa secured in plastic packaging. As powdered cocoa will sometimes do, it occasionally leaked some cocoa dust. This left some nominal stains on the inner stainless steel lining and perhaps some stubborn cocoa debris in the cracks and crevices of the white bottom. The inside of the refrigerator has been wiped clean, although brisker scrubbing might take out the cocoa stains altogether. Overall, the blue refrigerator is in new condition.
#2 THE SILVER REFRIGERATOR
The 2nd refrigerator, which I have labeled the silver refrigerator, is in fantastic used condition. It is called the silver unit because the original manufacturer’s protective plastic around the stainless steel exterior is NOT intact. It has been removed to reveal the stainless steel coating. This stainless steel finish is in excellent condition, although it will show the usual scratches, scuffs, and scrapes as any appliance does after floating in a kitchen for 2 years. The wear is extremely minimal and completely cosmetic. All the accessory items have been removed from their original manufacturer’s packaging - however, half of them have never been used. The baskets were used for a short time before being put back into storage. The exterior shelf and baskets have never been used, only stored. Obviously, the glass top and circular seal have been used for the duration. The manufacturer’s chrome handle NO LONGER remains on the silver unit’s glass top. It has been replaced with a handle that is both more decorative and feels sturdier. Made of zinc alloy with a Matte Black finish, the Asidrama handle is a heavy duty cabinet pull that is both strong and attractive. This refrigerator has been used indoors to store normal food items - condiments, deli, cheese, milk, bread, etc. It has been meticulously maintained. There are some nominal stains on the inner stainless steel lining and perhaps some stubborn debris in the cracks and crevices of the white bottom. The inside of the refrigerator has been wiped clean, although brisker scrubbing might take out stains altogether. Overall, the silver refrigerator is in exceptional preowned condition.
BOTH refrigerators have had their glass tops slightly modified from the original manufacturer’s version, and the revised design (in my opinion) is greatly improved in looks and function. The plastic slats that separated and surrounded the 2 semicircular pieces of glass have been removed. They were constantly popping out of place, and proved difficult to reinstall. Now the tops are a simpler version of that same design. The outcome not only keeps the refrigerator insulated and items inside chilled to the designated temperature (when placed on the bottom surface), but the lid is much easier to clean, doesn’t come apart as easily, and when it does come apart is very simple to re-adjust and re-align. It has worked so well that we never felt any need to put the original plastic pieces back in their places. For both refrigerators, the glass and circular rims are all in great condition - maybe some minor scuffs and scratches. Additional cleaning on the edges of the glass, which sit under the rim, wouldn’t hurt either.
Both refrigerators are work horses, tried and true. They both cool accurately to temperature (for items placed on the flat bottom), around the clock (unless we lose electricity and aren’t home to manually restart the unit), and have never had any issues (other than our tweaking of the glass tops). They are solid and dependable, attractive and flexible.
FYI - 2 problems we noticed over time and with use:
#1 NO ELECTRICITY, NO COOLING - REQUIRES MANUAL RESTART
If your electricity goes off - even for a second, even if you own a backup generator - the refrigerator will shut off and not automatically turn back on. You must turn it back on manually. We ran the refrigerators 24/7, but when we left the house for longer than a day, we removed all perishables and stored them in our full sized fridge. Just something to be aware of, if you decide to keep it plugged in around the clock when you’re away from home.
#2 THE BOTTOM (ONLY) IS TRUE TO THE EXTERNAL TEMPERATURE GAUGE READING
This was already mentioned above, but the temperature reflected on the unit’s external temperature gauge is not consistent throughout the whole unit. It maintains that temperature at the bottom, and the temperature gradually rises as you move toward the top. No different than a full-sized fridge being slightly warmer at the front than the back, and the same reason you shouldn’t keep meat, mayonnaise, and other perishables in the door - the temperature is higher there. This is a natural phenomenon, but bears mentioning. If you use the fridge for perishables, you want them on the very bottom. Other items - like bread, stable condiments, drinks, etc. - can go into the baskets higher up.
