DESCRIPTION

The emulator simulates that the seat occupancy sensor (seat mat) works  correctly and that the seat is always  occupied. It sends the same signal to an airbag control unit as that sent by seat  mat while a passenger is sitting.

The emulator simulates a person sitting in the passenger seat with a seat belt fastened. To make the emulator works you need a diagnostic tool (like the latest models of Autel, Bosch, iCarsoft etc.) to remove old errors of a defective passenger mat stored in the airbag control unit. Once you connect the emulator your diagnostic tool will be able to remove the old errors and turn off the SRS/airbag warning. Unfortunately, the errors related to the safety systems cannot be removed automatically. This emulator is a diagnostic device to test if car installation is working correctly and that the error displayed on the dashboard are caused by faulty seat occupancy sensor.
