The material is specially formulated to reproduce thick bass and details of sound, and its weight is carefully calculated.
The magnets are stonthium magnets, a type of rare metal with a reputation for compactness and high magnetic force. The cheaper ones are larger in size with ferranite magnets, which may look good, but the output power is completely different.
