For Dometic, RV Thermostat is connected to the control board in the air conditioning unit. So, if 1) the thermostat is on but ac is not running or 2) your thermostat just doesn’t read the correct temperature even after installing a new one, you might as well check the control board. Also, this control box is an option for upgrading your thermostat to a digital one.
