240 Grit is suitable for most typical applications / classic / old school engines.
320 Grit is suitable for most modern engine applications where a finer finish is required.
Always pick a hone larger than the bore size or same as bore size

Important Notes (!)
These tools are intended for professional use and must be used with honing oil / suitable lubricant.
After honing it is critical to clean the cylinder thoroughly with solvent, soap & water and wipe with ATF to check for any grit that may remain embedded in the freshly honed surface.
