Flambeau Limoges Heavy Gold Chocolate Cup & Saucer Circa 1891-1914 B

Antique French porcelain chocolate cup and saucer. Decorated with heavy gold gilding along the rim. Gold gilding to the handle of the cup. Marked on the reverse in green Limoges in a star over France. This is an underglaze whiteware mark used by Coiffe in Limoges France between 1891 and 1914.The saucer is marked Flambeau China L.D.B. & Co Limoges France in green. This mark was used before 1914.

Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. No chips or cracks.

The cup measures approximately 3 1/8 inches wide including the handle x 3 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 4 7/8 inches wide.

This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
