Braided Hose Fittings must be crimped according to DiscountHydraulicHose crimp specifications.
These fittings are also compatible with Weatherhead Coll-O-Crimp hose crimpers, and most adjustable hose crimpers (including models from from Dayco, Aeroquip and Gates).
*DiscountHydraulicHose fittings are not compatible with Parker Kwik-Krimp non-adjustable hose crimpers.
JIC 37° Flare (SAE J514)
This connection is very common in fluid power systems. Both the male and female have 37° seats. The seal takes place by establishing a ling of contact between the male flare and the female cone seat. The threads hold the connection mechanically. Nominal sizes and actual thread dimensions are listed below.
