Fits Cummins 5.9L 12v 24v 1989 - 2002 Billet Tappet Cover - KIT- NEW

Will fit ALL Models with VE44, P7100 Pumps.  For VP44 it can be fitted but grinding is required or P7100 conversion.

Fits the 1989 to 2002 model year of Cummins Diesel (2500, 3500. D250, D350, W250 & W350) with exception of 1998 1/2 to 2002 trucks with VP44 injection pump. Rear Bracket for pump must have top bolt head cut off for proper clearance and grinding to the bracket to clear plate. You can also remove rear support bracket and no modification is needed. We do not recommend this or encourage leaving the pump unsupported in the back, but it does work per many of our customers.

WHY BUY FKM SEALS?

• FKM and other seals have several very crucial differences that make them especially well suited to certain applications. While both FKM and other seals both serve as great sealing options at moderate temperatures, FKM is far superior to other seals for high temperature applications. FKM seals provide an indefinite seal for temperatures up to 400°F, and for temperatures up to 600°F they offer an excellent seal for more than 48 hours. Valve seals made of non-FKM materials, such as Poly, are only effective up to 250°F.

• These are brand new production seals. FKM has good flexibility like Nitrile, which means it can handle some run out between the valve stem and guide. It is also considered to be a more durable material than silicone. FKM also has better wear resistance than most other seal materials, making it a good choice for applications where long term durability is a must.

• FKM seals provide less friction as well, due to 5% Teflon.
