P.S.A. I am switching back to USPS for shipping guitars and necks as FEDEX have been an unreliable disaster and I found out its because even though they cost a couple dollars less, they just hold onto my packages for a couple weeks, then lose money having USPS deliver them anyway. I actually had some unhappy customers due to the delays, so USPS its is folks!

After playing for 30 years, my T5Z, my American Ultra strat etc just hang on the wall. They are prized assets! I certainly don't want a drunk guy at an open mic sitting on my Godin A6!!! I'm clumsy, I play with my eyes closed, I need to be able to play and even thrash without worrying about killing the vibe by wrecking my 2k axe.
I realized I needed at least 2 of each type of guitar I play. A $300 refret can even lower the resale price!
I need studio/gig/rehearsal guitars that I won't worry as much about damaging.
Then I realized, if you want your kid or student to fall fully into the music, you know they need a playable guitar that sounds great and looks cool, but do you want your teenager "relic-ing" the $700 Mexican Fender you got for their birthday?!?!?!?! Hell no.
I source great deals, close outs, B-stock, salvage from damaged instruments, buy job lots etc. The most expensive part I source is always the neck.
If you want a guitar that's great fun to play, sounds awesome, sets up nice without paying $600-$1000, consider Clyvoidium...it'd be a lot cooler if you did.
So many artists never realize their potential because of the cost of equipment. Trying to provide affordable items for musicians, students etc.
