Made in Japan Heritage is a series that pursues the supreme playing experience that vintage instruments provide to players.

The Heritage series is packed with specs that will appeal to vintage fans, and was developed under the supervision of Mark Kendrick, a master builder at the Fender Custom Shop who boasts an in-depth knowledge of vintage instruments.

All models in the Heritage Series are designed based on profiling data of USA products, and the body and neck shapes are also adapted to the age of the instrument. Every detail, from the crosswire pickups and pickup settings and tones to the reproduction of body colors, is in the authentic Fender lineage.

The Made in Japan Heritage 60s Telecaster Custom has an alder body with a lacquer finish that will deepen in color with age.

It features a 7.25" radius 7.60s "C" shape maple neck with 21 vintage-style frets, a vintage-style Tele bridge with three threaded steel barrels, and a specially selected pickup for the Heritage series. Every specification that makes up this product has been carefully chosen to deliver classic playability and sweet vintage tones.

The Heritage series offers the one-of-a-kind playability and rich tone that have made Fender a favorite of many great musicians.
