F9F2 Panther – F9F2 used a J42 Rolls Royce Nene engine - same as MiG15. It could zip along at 570mph at 20,000ft and be on station in just over two and a half minutes. F9F5’s Pratt & Whitney J48P2 (Rolls-Royce Tay) was a bit more formidable ground attack weapon. Both F9F2 and F9F5 can use the same CDkit instrument panel. F9F8P Cougar used a RR RB44 Tay / PW J48-P8A engine and was flown from Pensacola during the Cuban Missile Crisis. CDkit includes TV tracking Russian Foxtrot-class B59 nuclear armed submarine and AN/APR-25(V) RWR.
