Executive Handmade Ball Point Pen in Amboyna Burl

You are bidding on an Executive ball point twist open/close pen handcrafted by me.  It is crafted from Amboyna Burl wood.  The Amboyna tree is grown exclusively in Southeast Asia and burls are big wart like growths on the side of a tree.  They contain a heavy bird's eye or bubbly grain pattern, and this particular type of wood is prized for its deep red color.  In fact, amboyna burl is among the world's rarest and most expensive woods - holding the distinction of being the original wood used on Rolls Royce dashboards.  The black and gold-plated trim make this an exquisite looking pen.  Additionally, there is a solid walnut gift box included.  The contrast of the brown walnut gift box with the dark reddish browns in the pen will really impress the recipient.
