- Montblanc Meisterstück LeGrand Platinum-coated collection is a design that writes history. Introduced in 1924, a word meaning “Masterpiece,” the Meisterstück has become one of the symbols for high quality luxury writing.
- The cap and barrel are crafted in black precious resin featuring the iconic white Montblanc emblem inlaid in the cap top. The fountain pen is adorned with a hand-crafted 14K solid gold broad nib, rhodium-coated. The luxurious platinum finish remains bright, with only minor signs of handling consistent with gentle use.
- Among the Meisterstück fountain pens, the 146 (now known as the Le Grand), has a built-in piston mechanism for filling, and is a popular fountain pen because of its easy-to-handle size and reliability.
- As with all authentic Montblanc pens, there is an individual serial number and "GERMANY" on the clip ring.

- It is in excellent condition, in my opinion. I am the original owner. There are no obvious scratches or scuffs, no cracks, chips, peeling, corrosion, names, initials, or damages. Only Montblanc ink has ever been used. Ink flow is excellent and there are no ink leaks. There is no box.
