Why would you buy a low price featherweight on eBay? Most have been sitting around in a garage, barn, or damp basement floor for many years and then listed on eBay. We would not buy an antique automobile that had this history unless we had the knowledge to restore an old car or we had the money to let someone else do it for us. What we would do in this case is we would buy one that was already restored and running properly.

We have been using and repairing these little beauties most of our lives. We grew up sewing on a Featherweights and we are very knowledgeable on the use and service of these machines. We would not sell you anything that we would not use ourselves.

All of our featherweights are cleaned in and out. The factory applied clear coat has been cleaned to remove any absorbed dirt, grease, and oxidation that formed over the years. This machine has its original paint. Decals and gold trim are in good condition. The black paint is in overall good condition. It has been hand buffed and any of the light scratches were removed or minimized. All original vintage machines have some scratches. An expensive synthetic wax was applied to the machine to keep it glowing for a long time. IT SHINES!

We inspect, repair, adjust, and time the machine, motor, belt and wiring. We also check to make sure that the foot controller is adjusted and running up to speed. When we are done we know that we are selling a safe, well running, lovely machine. Well worth a high bid. 

The Carry Case is strong and has a minimal odor to it. The inside of the case is in good shape. Latches open and close. The handle is in good condition. Bottom of the case is solid.

This beautiful featherweight has the Original Owners Manual (2 pages are loose), Singer attachments, Singer Buttonholer, Singer needles, Singer Sewing Book, Quiltermakers Magazine, screwdriver, bobbins, scissors, spool pin felt pads and spools of thread.
