The USA made Emerson 3 is an intermediate horn. This one is open hole but with a catch. The open holes are currently corked so it's basically a closed hole but can easily convert. It has the B foot as well. Silver over a brass body for sturdiness. The ELD logo leans toward an early 1990's manufacture date. Made in the USA. It plays nicely but the student will have to get acquainted with the horn and the Summer is the perfect time to do this. Get it now and be worry free in August when band camp starts. This horn is approved for all high school programs.
