- Edora Ammonium Carbonate(Hirschhornsalz) is not suitable for high baked goods because it would retain ammonia which can affect the taste and color.
- Hirschhornsalz is harmful to health if eaten directly. Hirschhornsalz differs from baking soda due to the lack of acidic ingredients.
- Store in a cool, dry place and separated (or well sealed) from other baking ingredients (e.g. vanilla sugar), otherwise it will be affected by the ammonia released.
