About This Product
Eaton's Residential CH Circuit Breakers provide premium overload protection. The Type CH circuit breakers trip to the OFF position, eliminating nuisance callbacks. Eaton's Arc Fault Circuit Interrupters (AFCIs) use advanced electronic technology to reduce fire hazards in electrical circuits and the effects of persistent arcing faults that may pose a risk of fire under certain conditions. The CHF family also includes a trip flag to differentiate between a trip and the breaker being turned off. The thermal-magnetic trip curve avoids nuisance tripping on mild overloads while reacting almost instantaneously to severe short-circuit conditions. Multiple breakers have an internal common trip connection to operate all poles simultaneously. Handles are marked with ON-OFF indication and ampere rating of the breaker.
Highlights
- 1 pole, 20 Amp, 120/240 Volt
- Standard Pigtail
- Compatible for use in Eaton Type CH load centers and meter breaker panels
- Interrupt rating-10 kAIC
- Trip indication via mechanical flag
- AFCIs use advanced electronic technology to reduce fire hazards in electrical circuits, the breakers meet NEC and UL 1669 requirements for safety
- This combination type includes all of the protection of a standard breaker, plus it directly detects persistent low current arcing faults down to 5A to efficiently protect against fire hazards in the cords connected to outlets
- Enhanced electronics to reduce unwanted tripping from non-compliant devices
- Compact design for easier wiring and improved wire way access
- The 15 and 20 amp breakers can be used for heating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment applications
- Integral LED indicates seven different trip causes, reducing troubleshooting time
- The AFCIs were developed in response to the National electrical code that now requires AFCI protection in kitchens and laundry areas
