Many uniformed officers in East Germany did not like using the customary laces with buttons that were normally used. Instead, they used these! The base was sewn to the tunic (or pushed through one of the holes) and the board was screwed into place with the top button. You will receive a lot of (12) of these rare accessories as shown above.
