REPLACEMENT TIPS - In the last image REF 50-501 Rear Differential and Viscous Hub (without Oil Pump Type). When the part within this ad fails it is generally due to higher mileage. As it is failing it puts vibrational stress on the Viscous hub bearing & Seal and at the other end the Pinion Seal. At minimum, inspect the Viscous hub for bearing play or oil leakage. This controls your four-wheel drive. There isn't supposed to be any oil in it or bearing play/noise. If oil is present, it's because of a bad Pinion seal leaking into the hub.  Save yourself $800 - $1500 and consider replacing the Viscous Hub Bearing and Seal as well as the Pinion Seal now.  The Viscous Hub bearing or Seal are not available from the Dealer or auto parts store as it wasn't offered separately.

Should you need these parts we can combine them within One ad before purchase. Please make contact with your VIN #. The extra cost is $50 USD or less. For certain hubs we can also provide replacement instructions with pics for the mechanic.
