The brown 1/2” Barbed Drip Fittings are used in the installation of Rainbird, Hunter, DIG and other brand's brown drip line Used by home gardeners and professional alike, the brown fittings are made of high-impact plastic, and are available in a variety of configurations. Using a double barb, two pieces of drip line or drip tubing may be pushed over the barbed sides of the fittings for a very tight fit.

Hot Water for Tubing:

A trick among drip irrigation professionals is to briefly insert the end of a piece of 1/2" tubing into a cup of hot water before attempting to push 17mm fittings into the tubing. As a side note, lubricants should never be used on drip irrigation tubing. This tip will make installing your drip system easier, faster and more enjoyable.
