They are definitely worth the price of the set.
HOWEVER. If you want to use this set to make the hidden message - I would say that is an advanced technique. You have to make the components to make the wheel spin PLUS you need the INITIAL Hidden Message kit which included the dies for the moving parts. THAT IS NOT THIS KIT.
