This kit allows full Diagnostics for your Evinrude Engine.  This package contains everything you need to communicate to your Evinrude, as a dealer would in a workshop but allow you to do it using your own laptop and saving you on expensive dealer diagnostic fees.  Everything you need to get up and running is included (Cable, Easy Install software and the latest data files).  This Cable uses the latest quality chip-set and comes with the latest drivers.  It plugs into your computers USB port for simplicity and ease of use.  This Diagnostic kit works on Evinrude engines from 1999 - 2020.  This same type of software is used by dealers and Evinrude specialists to diagnose faults, programming, coding etc.  The preconfigured cable allows the auto detection of the engines ECU and allows the full diagnostics of the engines functions as well as other functions.  This kit also includes workshop manuals in PDF format.  Note:  This kit also includes a 6 FT USB extension cable so you can work at a comfortable distance from the engine.

Software includes:

- Evinrude 5.9.0.0 -  used to read all of your engine diagnostic codes and records, engine hours, activate low and high pressure fuel pumps, test individual injectors and ignition coils, set tilt-limit, deactivate most engine sensors for testing, view all sensor readings (TPS, IAC, battery voltage, charging voltage, rpm, oil pressure, MAP), stationary and static diagnostic tests, and much more.  All data can be saved to your computer.


Includes BOOTSTRAP Cable:

The Bootstrap cable is an extra cable used for updating and restoring the EMM in Evinrude outboards.  It can be used to replace the oil pump, EMM recovery, Replace injector and write injector data files to the EMM. It can also be used for EMM software update (user could upload the newest engine map software and updates to the E-TEC EMM).
