HOW THE K2 WORKS
MYOBRACE® K2
K2 focuses on arch expansion and continuous habit correction. It features Dynamicore™, which aids in the development of upper and lower dental arch shapes, creating more space to establish proper tongue resting positions and correct swallowing patterns.
K2 is a three-stage appliance system designed specifically to correct poor oral habits while treating upper and lower jaw development problems. The K2 provides arch development in addition to habit correction. It features Dynamicore™ with a Frankel Cage which assists in developing the arch form and improving the dental alignment. The K2 is available in three sizes and comes in pink, blue and clear.
Patient Selection
K2 is most effective when a child’s permanent teeth are coming through (ages 5 to 10) and is available in three sizes.
Directions for use
The K2 must be worn for one to two hours each day and overnight while sleeping and always remember to follow these few simple steps:
• Lips together at all times except when speaking or eating.
• Breathe through the nose, to assist the development of the upper and lower jaws, and to achieve the correct bite.
• No lip activity when swallowing, which allows the front teeth to develop correctly.
• Improved dental alignment.
• Improved facial development.
Cleaning the Myobrace® K2
The K2 should be cleaned under warm running water every time the patient removes it from their mouth.
How to choose the size
Measuring the distal distance of the upper jaw side 2-2(Maximum curvature)

Use a rope to measure the arc length of the upper middle 4 teeth, then measure the length of the rope with a ruler, you can get the arc length of the 4 teeth, and then choose.
