Complete Lower Plunger Assembly with Bearing Kit and Modified Chuck in good condition, as pictured, from Delta's 24" Scroll Saw Vintage SN 100-6006 which puts it at 1951 I believe.
The lone set screw is J-44, for securing the Bearing Retaining Screw NSS-333, as pictured. Also shown are NSS-274, the Full Dog Allen Set Screw and it's lock-screw SP-276, which secure the Crosshead NSS-337 aka 'Cross Slide' to the Lower Plunger NSS-332.
I'm not sure what the brazing on the chuck is about, repair or modification I presume.
