This daggerboard is better than the wooden one that comes with the boat.  It is strong.   It will stay down while you are sailing and will not float up.   It will not be hard to insert or remove because it is just a little thinner.  It is impervious to water so it will not swell up or delaminate the way wooden ones often to.

There are two sizes.   Newer boats have a 10 1/2" long shallow recess at the top of the daggerboard well. See photo of well with measuring tape.  That's what this model fits.   Older boats have  a shorter recess -- more like 9 1/4".   See other listing for that size.
