After many request from customers for D97 Longbow Strings, We have added (NEW D97 STRINGS)!!!This material is high strength, durable, low creep perfect for modern longbows. Traditional Buckskin and Dark Brown D97, two bundle 16 strand, Pre-stretched Flemish Twist Specifically made for Hill Style Longbows. Loops are smaller and designed for better fit on the straight limb tips. Each string is stretched at approximately 200 pounds of tension. These strings have very little creeping. Reduces having to twist it up after shooting to maintain your target brace height. These strings make a huge difference in how Hill Style bows shoot, quieter, faster, less hand thump and helps with arm/string slap. I run these strings on all my longbows. WARNING: Make sure your bow is made to handle this string material to avoid bow damage. Must have reinforced limb tips, most modern bows are made to handle D97. If not sure contact bow maker or company. For old bows check out my other B55 string listings, these strings are safe for all bows.
Choosing the right bowstring:
AMO, what is written on your bow, for Longbows your string will be 3" shorter than the AMO length
EXAMPLE - AMO 68" - actual string length is 65"
