These cute kitchen timers are perfect gifts and tools for the kitchen! Whether you are baking or simmering some stew! Like most manual timers, these do not require batteries and in order to set the time you must follow these basic steps: 
1. Twist base counter-clockwise until you reach 60
2. Twist Clock-Wise to the desired time

Example: To set a time for 20 minutes you must first turn the base all the way to 60 then turn the opposite direction to where the dial is at 20. You will know that the timer has begun by the ticking sound. 

Note: At the end of the time, the bell will not go on indefinitely, however you may end the ringing earlier by twisting the base clockwise and counter-clockwise until it stops.
