Description

Have you heard of the Firecracker Plant? Cuphea ignea blooms year-round with tube-shaped flowers. They are bright red, giving them the appearance of lit cigars or firecrackers. These flowers adorn dark green, oval-shaped leaves that grow up to 2" long. The branches are dense and evergreen. It is native to Mexico and the West Indies. This fun plant looks particularly attractive in beds, hanging baskets, containers, and borders. Suitable for indoors.
